NEW IN 2019! West Mountain will be opening its Brand New Aerial Adventure Park consisting of six trails with three hubs intended for climbers 7 years old and older ranging in ability from beginner to advanced! Course features include: A flying trapeze, a spider web, climbing wall, rolling vine, log wave, floating raft, moving sidewalk, cloud sled, zip line and more! The park is accessed by the West Express Chairlift and is located deep in the woods of West Mountain! You won’t experience anything else like it!
UPDATE: We will be open for pre-reserved groups and teams of 10 or more people in June. For group bookings please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 518-636-3699 ext. 316. We will open to the public July 1st (hours below)! All groups must have a group reservation at least 48 hours in advance. We strongly recommend all guests reserve ahead of time by calling 518-636-3699 ext. 316.

Adult (13+) $59 and includes all courses and a chairlift ride to and from the park
Youth (7-12) $45 and includes a chairlift ride to and from the park with limited courses

GUIDELINES FOR AERIAL ADVENTURE TOURS:
Climbers need to be age 7 and over (younger kids or friends and family not climbing can take a scenic chairlift ride and hike at the top of the mountain, or relax in our Main Lodge.)
Climbers should be at least 55 inches tall (approx. 4 1/2 feet) in order to reach the clip/unclip points throughout the park. If they are shorter than the recommended height, they will need to be assisted by an adult, friend or family members throughout the course.
Maximum weight limit for the park is 265 pounds. Guests over 265 pounds may have trouble physically fitting in the harness. A negative guest experience can be avoided by adhering to the set weight limit.
Climbing with a serious injury, health concern or while pregnant is very strongly advised against.
We do not allow smoking of any kind on the mountain. We also ask our guests to please make sure to throw all garbage in the appropriate garbage cans.
How to dress for your adventure:
- Long hair is required to be tied back.
- Must wear closed toed shoes that fit properly.
- No jewelry please
- Clothing must fit tight to the body and weather appropriate.
- Due to the location of the Aerial Park, you may come into contact with tree sap. Tree sap can stain clothes so please dress accordingly. West Mountain is not responsible for any damaged clothing,

Scenic Chairlift Rides Only
Adult (13+) $15

Our Scenic Chairlift Rides to the Mountain Top offers stunning views of the Adirondack and Vermont mountains and the Hudson River Valley region. A scenic lift ride is the perfect way to see the beautiful region in a whisk. Once you arrive at the top of the mountain, we suggest hiking on our designated mixed-use scenic and Green (Easy) “Crow’s Nest” trail (Please CLICK HERE for our TRAIL MAP), and then you will ride the chairlift back down to the Main Lodge. Please wear appropriate athletic footwear. It’s fun and fitness for the whole family, a group of friends, or romantic outing! We will also be offering food and beverages in the Lodge.
GUIDELINES FOR SCENIC CHAIRLIFT RIDES:
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult
Children must be able to sit alone to ride the chairlift
All children under 18 must have a signed waiver by an adult.
Uphill traffic is only allowed on our designated uphill trail with an access band
Must have an access band to ride the Chairlift and hike
All Chairlift riders/hikers need to wear appropriate athletic footwear
